After breakfast, your professional driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and begin the scenic drive towards Kikuletwa Hot Springs, located near Rundugai Village on the outskirts of Mount Kilimanjaro.

The drive takes you through beautiful Tanzanian countryside landscapes, local villages, open plains, and views of both Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru on clear days.

Upon arrival at Kikuletwa Hot Springs, you will have ample time to relax and enjoy the peaceful natural environment. The springs are surrounded by lush vegetation, palm trees, and winding fig tree roots, creating a tropical oasis atmosphere.

Although commonly referred to as “hot springs,” the water is actually refreshingly cool and crystal clear, fed by underground streams from Mount Kilimanjaro. You may choose to swim, relax under the shade, sunbathe, take photographs, or simply enjoy the tranquil surroundings.

During the morning hours, you may also spot blue monkeys in the surrounding trees while enjoying the calm atmosphere of the area.

A local picnic lunch will be served during the day, followed by more time to relax and enjoy the springs at your own pace.

In the late afternoon, you will begin your drive back to Arusha, arriving in the evening where you will be dropped off at your hotel.
