Early in the morning, your professional safari guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and depart for Tarangire National Park with picnic lunch boxes.

Upon arrival, you will begin an extensive game drive through the park’s vast savannah plains, seasonal swamps, and acacia woodlands. Tarangire National Park is famous for hosting one of the highest concentrations of elephants in Tanzania, and you may encounter large herds moving across the landscape.

The park is also home to lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, impalas, and a wide variety of birdlife. The giant baobab trees scattered throughout the park create one of the most iconic safari landscapes in East Africa.

At midday, you will enjoy your picnic lunch at a designated picnic site within the park while taking in the beautiful surroundings.

After lunch, you will continue with your afternoon game drive before departing the park and returning to Arusha in the late afternoon.
