Itinerary
Early in the morning, your professional safari guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with picnic lunch boxes.
Upon arrival, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an extensive game drive across the crater floor. The crater is home to approximately 30,000 animals, making it one of the best wildlife viewing destinations in Africa.
During your game drive, you may spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, hyenas, jackals, and the rare black rhinoceros. The crater also hosts a variety of birdlife including flamingos around the soda lake.
You will enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated picnic site inside the crater while surrounded by breathtaking scenery and wildlife.
After lunch, you will continue with your afternoon game drive before ascending the crater walls and returning to Arusha in the evening.
