Day By Day Itinerary

After an early breakfast, your professional driver-guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Arusha and depart for Tarangire National Park with picnic lunch boxes.

Tarangire National Park is famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and the Tarangire River, which attracts wildlife throughout the year. The park supports an impressive variety of animals including lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, impalas, and numerous bird species.

You will enjoy a full-day game drive exploring the diverse habitats of the park while searching for wildlife and enjoying spectacular scenery.

After your picnic lunch and afternoon game drive, you will leave the park and proceed to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will depart for the world-famous Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater with picnic lunch boxes.

The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife destinations. The crater floor supports an incredible concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, hyenas, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, and the endangered black rhinoceros.

Thanks to the abundance of wildlife within a relatively small area, Ngorongoro offers some of the best game-viewing opportunities in Africa and excellent chances of spotting the Big Five in a single day.

You will enjoy your picnic lunch at a designated site within the crater while surrounded by breathtaking scenery and wildlife.

After your game drive, ascend the crater walls and return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and abundant birdlife, including flamingos and pelicans along the lake shores. The park’s varied habitats provide excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography.

After enjoying your picnic lunch and afternoon game drive, you will begin your journey back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon or early evening.

Driving Time: Approximately 30 minutes from Migombani Camp to Lake Manyara and 2 hours from Lake Manyara to Arusha
