Day By Day Itinerary

After breakfast, your professional safari guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and begin your journey to Tarangire National Park with picnic lunch boxes.

Tarangire National Park is famous for its large herds of elephants, ancient baobab trees, and scenic savannah landscapes. The park is home to diverse wildlife including lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, impalas, warthogs, and a large variety of bird species.

The Tarangire River serves as a permanent water source and attracts wildlife throughout the year, especially during the dry season when animals gather around the river.

You will enjoy a full-day game drive exploring different areas of the park while observing wildlife in their natural habitat. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park.

In the late afternoon, you will depart Tarangire and drive to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Driving Time: Approximately 2 hours from Arusha to Tarangire and 1.5 hours from Tarangire to Karatu

After an early breakfast, you will depart for Serengeti National Park via the beautiful Ngorongoro Conservation Area while enjoying spectacular views of the highlands along the way.

As you enter Serengeti National Park, the landscape opens into endless plains filled with abundant wildlife and breathtaking scenery. Serengeti is one of the most famous safari destinations in the world and home to the Great Migration involving millions of wildebeests and zebras.

You will enjoy an en-route game drive as you proceed through the park, with opportunities to spot lions, elephants, giraffes, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, hyenas, and many other wildlife species.

A picnic lunch will be served during the journey before continuing with your afternoon game drive.

In the evening, you will arrive at your tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay in the heart of Serengeti.

After breakfast, you will enjoy a half-day game drive in Serengeti National Park, giving you another opportunity to explore the vast plains and observe the incredible wildlife that inhabits the ecosystem.

Serengeti is renowned for its rich predator population including lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and jackals. You may also encounter large herds of wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, elephants, giraffes, and hippos during your game drive.

A picnic lunch will be served within the park before you continue your journey towards the Ngorongoro Highlands.

As you leave Serengeti, you will enjoy beautiful scenery, rolling hills, and changing landscapes while driving towards your lodge near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

In the evening, you will arrive for dinner and an overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater with picnic lunch boxes for an unforgettable game drive.

Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. It is home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, hyenas, and the endangered black rhinoceros.

The crater floor offers one of the best wildlife viewing experiences in Africa due to its dense animal population and spectacular scenery.

You will enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool while surrounded by stunning landscapes and wildlife.

After the game drive, you will ascend the crater walls and begin your drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon or evening.
