In the morning, your driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and transfer you to the beautiful Lake Duluti, located approximately 10 kilometers from Arusha town.

Upon arrival, you will begin a guided nature walk through the lush forest surrounding the crater lake. The approximately 2.5-hour hike takes you along scenic trails beneath the forest canopy, where you may encounter a variety of birds, monkeys, reptiles, and other wildlife species.

The area is especially popular for birdwatching, with species such as fish eagles, kingfishers, herons, and cormorants frequently spotted around the lake. You may also see large monitor lizards resting near the shoreline.

During clear weather, you can enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro from selected viewpoints around the lake.

After the hike, you will enjoy your lunch while relaxing in the peaceful surroundings.

Later, you will experience a 1.5-hour canoeing adventure across the calm crater lake waters. The canoeing experience offers excellent opportunities to enjoy the scenery, observe birdlife up close, and experience the tranquility of the lake.

In the late afternoon, you will transfer back to Arusha.
