Your journey begins with a morning transfer from your hotel in Zanzibar to the airport for your scheduled flight to Nyerere National Park.

Upon arrival at Mtemere Airstrip, you will be welcomed by your guide and begin your safari with a game drive en route to your camp.

Nyerere National Park is home to a wide range of wildlife including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and the rare African wild dogs. The landscapes vary from riverine forests to open plains, offering excellent game viewing opportunities.

After your game drive, you will arrive at your lodge for relaxation, followed by dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Your day begins early with a guided walking safari, offering a unique opportunity to explore the bush on foot. Accompanied by an armed ranger, you will learn about animal tracks, plants, and smaller details of the ecosystem that are often missed during game drives.

You will then visit a local Maasai boma, where you can experience traditional culture and gain insight into the Maasai way of life.

After returning to camp for breakfast, you will continue your adventure with a boat safari along the Rufiji River. This is one of the highlights of visiting Nyerere, providing close-up views of hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife along the riverbanks.

Following lunch, you will transfer to Mtemere Airstrip for your return flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
