Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, one of our professional guides will warmly welcome you and assist you with your transfer to Greenside Hotel in Arusha.
At the hotel, you will have time to relax, refresh, and prepare for your upcoming trekking experience. Our team will ensure you are comfortable and ready for the adventure ahead.

Your journey begins with a morning transfer from your hotel in Arusha to the Lemosho Gate.
After completing registration and park formalities, you start your trek through a dense, pristine rainforest. The trail is lined with giant trees, ferns, and vines, and wildlife is abundant — monkeys, colorful birds, and forest insects create a lively atmosphere.
Walking slowly allows your body to adjust gradually to the altitude.
By afternoon, you reach Lemosho Forest Camp, where the towering canopy provides shade and a peaceful environment.

After breakfast, the trail ascends gradually through the upper rainforest into heath and moorland zones.
The air becomes cooler and the vegetation thins, revealing panoramic views of the western valleys.
You continue trekking to Shira 1 Camp, located on the Shira Plateau with wide open landscapes and unique alpine vegetation.

This is a relatively easy day designed to support acclimatization.
You arrive at Shira 2 Camp, which offers spectacular sunset views over the plateau.

This is a key acclimatization day.
You ascend to Lava Tower (4,600 m), allowing your body to adjust to higher altitude before descending to Barranco Camp.
The route passes through dramatic volcanic formations and alpine desert terrain.

After breakfast, you climb the famous Barranco Wall — one of the most exciting highlights of the trek.
From the top, descend into Karanga Valley, then continue ascending toward Barafu Camp.

Shortly after midnight, begin your summit attempt under the stars.
Climb steadily to Stella Point, then continue to Uhuru Peak (5,896 m) — the highest point in Africa on Mount Kilimanjaro.
After celebrating, descend to Barafu Camp for rest and lunch, then continue to Mweka Camp.
