7 Days Great Migration & Lake Natron Safari Tanzania

After breakfast, your safari guide will pick you up from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive with picnic lunch.

Tarangire is famous for its giant baobab trees, large elephant herds, and diverse wildlife. The Tarangire River attracts numerous animals including lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and various antelope species.

After your game drive, you will proceed to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will depart for the remote and beautiful Lake Natron region, passing through stunning Rift Valley landscapes and traditional Maasai villages.

Upon arrival, you will enjoy a picnic lunch before embarking on a guided hike to the spectacular Ngaresero Waterfalls. The walk takes you through a narrow gorge with towering rock walls and refreshing streams before reaching the beautiful waterfall.

Later in the afternoon, you will visit the shores of Lake Natron for a flamingo walk. The lake is one of East Africa’s most important breeding grounds for Lesser Flamingos and offers breathtaking scenery beneath the towering Ol Doinyo Lengai volcano.

After breakfast, you will depart for Northern Serengeti with picnic lunch boxes.

The journey takes you through some of Tanzania’s most remote and scenic landscapes before entering Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival, you will begin your afternoon game drive while exploring the wildlife-rich Kogatende region.

Northern Serengeti is famous for the dramatic Mara River crossings during the Great Migration season when thousands of wildebeests and zebras cross crocodile-filled waters.

After a picnic lunch, you will continue with a game drive while traveling south toward Central Serengeti.

You will spend the day exploring different areas of the park before returning to camp in the evening.

After your game drive, you will return to Arusha in the late afternoon, marking the end of your safari.
