Your safari begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam. You will drive to Nyerere National Park, enjoying scenic views of rural Tanzania along the way.

Upon arrival around lunchtime, you will check in at your camp and enjoy a freshly prepared meal.

In the afternoon, you will embark on a boat safari along the Rufiji River, one of the highlights of visiting Nyerere. This unique experience allows you to observe wildlife from the water, including hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and a wide variety of birdlife along the riverbanks.

After the boat safari, you will return to your camp for dinner and overnight stay.

You will start the day early with a guided walking safari, offering a completely different perspective of the African wilderness. Accompanied by an armed ranger, you will learn about animal tracks, plants, and the ecosystem in a more intimate way.

After the walking safari, you will visit a Maasai village, where you will experience local culture, traditions, and daily life.

Return to the camp for breakfast, then depart for a full-day game drive with packed lunch.

Nyerere National Park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wild dogs, and numerous bird species. The park’s diverse habitats—rivers, plains, and woodlands—offer excellent game viewing opportunities.

In the late afternoon, you will return to your camp for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, you will set out for another full-day game drive in Nyerere National Park with packed lunch.

This day allows you to explore deeper areas of the park and maximize your wildlife viewing experience. Depending on the season, you may encounter large herds of elephants, predators such as lions and leopards, and rare species like African wild dogs.

The vastness of the park ensures a quiet, uncrowded safari experience, making it ideal for photography and nature lovers.

After a full day of exploration, you will return to your camp for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will check out and transfer to Mtemere Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar.

Enjoy a scenic flight over the Tanzanian landscape before arriving in Zanzibar, where our representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel.

This marks the end of your safari, with the option to continue your beach holiday in Zanzibar.
