Having a full day in the park allows you to explore more remote sections of Tarangire and increase your chances of spotting predators and large herds of wildlife. The park is particularly famous for its large elephant populations, often seen gathering around the Tarangire River.

During the day, you may encounter lions resting beneath acacia trees, giraffes browsing among the vegetation, large buffalo herds, and numerous antelope species. Bird enthusiasts will also enjoy sightings of many colorful and unique bird species.

Following your picnic lunch and afternoon game drive, you will leave Tarangire and proceed towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Upon arrival, enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at your campsite located on the rim of the Ngorongoro Highlands, offering cool temperatures and spectacular views.

After an early breakfast, descend approximately 600 meters into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater with picnic lunch boxes.

The Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s most extraordinary wildlife destinations and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Formed millions of years ago when a giant volcano collapsed, the crater now shelters an incredible concentration of wildlife within its natural walls.

The crater floor is home to lions, elephants, buffaloes, hyenas, hippos, wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, and the endangered black rhinoceros. Due to its unique ecosystem and high wildlife density, Ngorongoro offers some of the best game-viewing opportunities in Africa.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated site near the hippo pool while surrounded by stunning scenery.

In the late afternoon, ascend the crater and drive to your accommodation near Lake Manyara for dinner and an overnight stay.

Located beneath the dramatic Great Rift Valley escarpment, Lake Manyara National Park offers a diverse range of habitats including lush groundwater forests, acacia woodlands, open grasslands, and the alkaline lake itself.

The park is renowned for its famous tree-climbing lions, large elephant populations, playful baboons, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, and an impressive variety of birdlife. Flamingos and other water birds can often be seen along the lake shores.

You will enjoy your picnic lunch inside the park before continuing with your afternoon game drive.

Later in the afternoon, you will depart the park and return to Arusha, marking the end of your memorable safari adventure.
