One of our driver guides will pick you up at your hotel and drive to Tsavo West National Park, arriving in time for lunch.

Tsavo West is characterized by gently rolling plains, the scenic Taita Hills, and dramatic lava flows across a vast plateau dotted with acacia woodland, scrub, and bushland. The park is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including the famous Tsavo elephants, as well as rhinos, leopards, cheetahs, and lions.

In the afternoon, you will embark on another game drive to further explore the park’s rich wildlife and landscapes. If time permits, you will also visit Mzima Springs, a series of crystal-clear natural springs known for their large populations of hippos and crocodiles.

In the evening, you will return to the lodge for relaxation, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

Driving Time: 3 hours’ drive from Diani Beach to Tsavo West

After an early morning game drive, you will return to the lodge for breakfast. Thereafter, you will depart for Tsavo East National Park, enjoying a short en-route game drive as you proceed to the lodge, arriving in time for lunch.

Tsavo East, which forms part of the greater Tsavo ecosystem, is renowned for its vast open plains and large populations of wildlife. The park is home to a wide variety of large mammals, including the famous “red elephants,” known for dusting themselves with the region’s red soil. Other wildlife includes lions, leopards, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, waterbucks, lesser kudu, gerenuk, and over 500 bird species.

The park is also famous for Lugard Falls, where the Galana River cascades over a series of rapids into crocodile-inhabited pools.

In the afternoon, you will embark on another exciting game drive until sunset. Later, you will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After an early morning game drive, you will return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast, followed by check-out. You will then depart for Voi Railway Station, where you will board your train to Mombasa.

Upon arrival at the Mombasa train station, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your beach resort in Diani Beach, where you will begin your relaxing beach holiday.
