Your safari begins with an early pick-up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam. You will be transferred to the railway station to board a train heading to Morogoro, enjoying scenic views of the Tanzanian countryside along the way.

Upon arrival in Morogoro, you will meet your driver-guide and continue by road to Mikumi National Park.

After arrival, you will proceed directly for a game drive in the park. Mikumi features vast open plains, acacia woodlands, and waterholes that attract a wide variety of wildlife. During your game drive, you may spot lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, and numerous bird species.

In the late afternoon, you will head to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will set out for a half-day game drive in Mikumi National Park, giving you another opportunity to explore the park and spot wildlife in different areas.

The early hours are often the best time to see predators and active animals, making this a rewarding experience for wildlife viewing and photography.

After the game drive, you will enjoy lunch before departing the park and driving back to Morogoro.

From Morogoro, you will board the train back to Dar es Salaam, where you will be transferred to your hotel upon arrival, marking the end of your safari.
